Bremen Towne Festival
The Bremen Towne Festival, hosted annually by the GFWC Bremen Junior Woman’s Club, is one of our community’s most anticipated traditions. Held in historic downtown Bremen on the third Saturday in October, this family-friendly event brings together local residents, visitors, artists, and businesses for a full day of fun, creativity, and hometown pride.
The festival features a vibrant parade, arts and crafts vendors, delicious food, live entertainment, and activities for all ages. It showcases the talents of local and regional artisans while providing a welcoming space for families and friends to gather and celebrate our community.
As the club’s largest fundraiser of the year, the Bremen Towne Festival plays a vital role in supporting the Bremen Junior Woman’s Club’s philanthropic programs. Proceeds help fund scholarships, community improvement projects, environmental initiatives, and support for local organizations and families in need.
Through this signature event, the GFWC Bremen Junior Woman’s Club continues its mission of service, leadership, and community engagement—strengthening Bremen and creating lasting memories year after year.
Taste of Chocolate
The Annual Taste of Chocolate is a beloved community event hosted by the West Georgia Woman’s Club and proudly co-hosted by the GFWC Bremen Junior Woman’s Club at Sewell Mill. It’s held the first Saturday in March annually. This elegant and enjoyable fundraiser brings together community members, local businesses, and supporters for an afternoon dedicated to sweet treats and meaningful impact.
Guests enjoy a wide variety of chocolate-inspired desserts and confections prepared by local bakers, restaurants, and volunteers, along with refreshments and fellowship. The event provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere where attendees can relax, connect, and support important community causes.
Through our partnership with the West Georgia Woman’s Club, the Taste of Chocolate helps raise funds for Ferst Foundation and other local charitable initiatives that benefit individuals and families throughout West Georgia. The Bremen Junior Woman’s Club is honored to assist with setup, sponsors, and baking and to help ensure its continued success.
This collaborative effort shows that when clubs work together, the impact is even greater.
